The colloquium is open to graduate students at different stages of their research projects or programmes.
The Colloquium is the Faculty’s initiative to promote and stimulate the research culture among graduate students in the region, and strengthen the networking of institutions, experts and academic communities, through collaboration with ASEAN Graduate Business and Economics Program (AGBEP). The main objective of the colloquium is to create an excellent platform for graduate students to meet and interact, exchange ideas, discuss their research topics with other students from around the region and the world, and to learn from each other’s experiences.

International Forum on Global Universiti Brunei Darusssalam
Global health has come to encompass more complex transactions in addressing health challenges affecting the societies throughout the world. The forum will provide an excellent platform to bring together prominent professionals from different disciplines in global health to learn, exchange ideas and generate research opportunities in global health interest, particularly with Universiti Brunei Darussalam. It enables participants to have intellectual interactions and establish network with world class global health players.
Ten prominent global health professionals from outstanding institutions including World Health Organisation, United Kingdom, United States of America and Hongkong will be presenting papers on various global health issues in series of plenary sessions. Topics on global health challenges and issues which are relevant to society, economy, policy, environment, technology and medical education will be discussed and debated.

Pratikno : Kondisi Sosial Politik Memanas, Yogyakarta Tengah Diuji
YOGYAKARTA – Rektor terpilih Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Prof. Dr. Pratikno mensinyalir, kondisi politik dan keamanan di Yogyakarta yang cenderung memanas akhir-akhir ini merupakan tarikan politik yang terjadi di Jakarta. Menurutnya, Yogyakarta tengah diuji secara nasional sebagai barometer ketenangan, kedamaian dan multikultur di Indonesia. “Yogya sebagai barometer politik nasional tengah diuji kebarometerannya,” kata Pratikno ditemui di kantor Fisipol, Sabtu (12/5).
BEM KM Fakultas Geografi Gelar GIS 2012
BEM KM Fakultas Geografi UGM bekerjasama dengan Ikatan Mahasiswa Geografi Indonesia (IMAHAGI), selama empat hari, tanggal 4 s.d 7 Mei 2012 menyelenggarakan serangkaian acara Geography International Symposium (GIS) 2012. Dua Belas Mahasiswa PWK Bawa “Kampung” Keliling Jerman
YOGYAKARTA-Dua belas mahasiswa program studi Teknik Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota (PWK), Jurusan Teknik Arsitektur dan Perencanaan, Fakultas Teknik UGM yang tergabung dalam kelompok studi Planogama, pada 16-30 April lalu mendapat kesempatan untuk memperkenalkan Kampung Kota di empat Universitas di Jerman. Para mahasiswa itu adalah Zeindha Hamidi, Raisa Savitri Ramadani, Nur Azizzah Irawati, Akhmad Fais Fauzi, Mayang Rahmi Novita Sari, Nur Restiani Setyaningrum, Emi Fatma Widayani, Jati Pramono, Salsabila Daniastri, Diniarsari Nur Izzati, Wahyu Kusuma Astuti, dan Rendy Adriyan Diningrat.
