BI Presidential Scholarships adalah untuk Norwegia dan internasional kandidat tingkat atas (ECTS kelas A atau setara). BI Presidential Scholarships dari Norwegia ini mencakup biaya kuliah penuh selama dua tahun. Beasiswa tambahan biaya hidup mungkin tersedia bagi siswa internasional.

The President of BI has established a Scholarship Fund for academically strong candidates, commencing in 2012.

Students with top lever grades are eligible. This means GPA of A in the ECTS scale or equivalent top level grade in international grade scales. Students with lower GPA may apply if they can demonstrate and document outstanding academic or extracurricular achievements in other relevant fields for admission.

Both Norwegian and international applicants are eligible and are equally assessed.

Eligible MSc programmes for Presidential Scholarships are:

• MSc in Business and Economics (all majors)
• MSc in Strategic Marketing Management
• MSc in Financial Economics
• MSc in Leadership and Organizational Psychology
• MSc in International Management
• Master of Professional Accountancy (Master i regnskap og revisjon)

Scholarships will be granted as a full tuition fee waiver for both years. Second year scholarship will be conditional and depending on strong academic results and normal study progression in year one.

Living cost scholarships may be granted to eligible international applicants. Documentation of financial need for covering living costs must be stated in the financial statement sheet.

Ranking of applicants:

• Applicants with international bachelor degrees will be ranked according to their national GPA scale. In addition, the national GPA will be transferred and assessed in the ECTS scale.
• Other factors that may influence ranking can be other academic or extracurricular achievements and special personal achievements. Certified copies of documents of these achievements and a CV must be presented.
• BI aims for a national and international mix in the student body. Hence, priority may be given to applicants from selected countries, from selected partner schools of BI or to applicants to selected MSc Programmes.

The candidates who are awarded the Presidential Scholarship must be prepared to be “BI ambassadors”, acting as spokespeople and help keep up a good study environment. The details regarding this will be finalised and published in the beginning of 2012.
